Movie Quote Trivia game

Posted on 20:19 by simmo
I got this from Caroline's blog--you should read her Movie Quote Trivia post, too!!

Rules:
1. Pick 20 of your favorite movies.

2. Go to IMDB.com and find a quote from each movie.

3. Post them for everyone to guess.

4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.

5. NO cheating.

I tried not to make these too hard, but I had to make it somewhat challenging!  ;)  Good luck!

  1. "Name a shrub after me. Something prickly and hard to eradicate."
  2. "You seem to be now the very thing you set out to destroy, giving evil for evil! Hatred is turning you to stone."
  3. "I would prefer it if I did not enjoy oranges. Consuming them is a most incommodious business."
  4. "It's your wedding day - I agree with everything you say."
  5. "I like old fashioned things."
  6. "I am now telling the computer *exactly* what it can do with a life time supply of chocolate."
  7. "I'm well aware that in your eyes at least, I'm not a gentleman."
  8. "The man with the hatchet gets to pick the choicest cuts."
  9.  "Do you ever feel like a chess piece yourself? In a game being played against your will."
  10. "Haven't you ever seen a dinosaur before?"
  11.  "I don't want to be in a battle. But waiting on the edge of one I can't escape is even worse."
  12.  "They're... They're just bells."
  13. "I'm not a dwarf! I'm a girl. And actually, I'm tallest in my class."
  14.  "I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it."
  15.  "All right. We'll put it away. We'll keep it hidden, we'll never speak of it again. No one knows it's here, do they?"
  16. "I am not what is called a civilized man, Professor. I have done with society for reasons that seem good to me. Therefore, I do not obey its laws. "
  17. "You'd think more people would know a badger when they see one."
  18. "Look at my men. Their courage hangs by a thread. If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end, as to be worthy of remembrance."
  19. "All young ladies are accomplished. They sing, they draw, they dance, speak French and German, cover screens and I know not what."
  20. "It's no use screaming at a time like this. Nobody will hear you. Help! Help!"
