You know you're weird when you rejoice at the return of rain, in your famously rainy climate.
8:00 pm today, the outdoors still had that rainy, persistently green, cosy-afternoon aspect, more like 4 o'clock with a glowing grey sky. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Nobody here really understands. They take a "grass is greener" view of the weather--but really, how could grass be greener in a sunny climate?
Sunny weather effects people's emotions in a positive way--the same goes for me, except it's rain instead. Rain is a sight and sound for sore eyes and ears. If you made me move to a desert climate, I'd become severely depressed, as if I were a geoduck harvested for an upscale eatery. (Or something like that.) Do you understand the feeling? Everyone feels that way about something.
By the by, sorry for the lack of in-depth posts. It's not so much that I have nothing to write about, but there's very little interesting to say.
